Cam Cities was the first piece I did using material from webcams. Its five vinyl panels show London, Taipei, Toronto, Vienna and Warsaw. Cities put up webcams to achieve particular ends - to foster tourism, discourage crime, monitor traffic, etc. Although city cams may serve these functions, at the same time they also construct a virtual city, a realm susceptible to imagination.
